The CK:400 Outdoor Measurement Kits have been designed to be used with a Cirrus Research Sound Level Meter to provide the ability to measure noise levels outdoors for long periods of time.
The system is simple to use, and allows the Sound Level Meter to be removed from the case for use as a standard hand held instrument.
The CK:400 kits comprises an outdoor microphone unit, a weatherproof case and a 10m cable to connect the two components.
The Sound Level Meter is held securely within the case to protect it during transit and operation.
The outdoor microphone has an integral tripod, and also includes birdspikes and a windshield to protect the microphone capsule.
