The Gas Alert Micro 5 PID simultaneously monitors upto five atmospheric hazards including volatile organic compounds (VOC's), oxygen, flammables gases and a wide range of toxic gases. Compact and lightweight the Gas Alert Micro 5 PID activates audible, visual and vibrating alarms in the event of a low, high, TWA or STEL alarm condition. VOC's present multiple potential threats in the workplace environment. VOC's are characterised by their tendency to evaporate easily at room temperature and include substances such as solvents, paint thinners, Benzene, Butadiene, Hexane and Toluene. Also vapours associated with fuels such as petroleum, Diesel, heating oil, kerosene and jet fuel. The Gas Alert Micro 5 PID's integrated photoionisation detector (PID) enables sensitive broad spectrum monitoring of volatile organic compounds. Highly configurable to suit a range of applications, the Gas Alert Micro 5 PID comes as a diffusion or pumped instrument, with either alkaline or NiMH rechargeable hot-swappable battery pack. Also avaliable is optional datalogging capabilities.
